Meet Jared Christophel, MD, MPH, FACS
Dr. Jared Christophel is an award-winning facial plastic surgeon and educator specializing in rhinoplasty and facial reconstruction. He joined Hampton Roads ENT~Allergy in 2020 after spending more than a decade on the faculty of the University of Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Christophel is a senior examiner for the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and is board-certified in both facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and otolaryngology. He has won repeated awards for his clinical care, including Recognition for Outstanding Patient Experience-Press Ganey 99th percentile and the Best Bedside Manner Award for Facial Plastic Surgery from Our Health Magazine.
When he’s not on the clock, you can find Dr. Christophel backpacking, fishing, cycling and traveling to do volunteer medical work abroad. He recently completed his tenth trip to Kijabe, Kenya, to perform cleft lip and palate surgeries.
