I had always seen myself in a profession where I can help people and make a positive impact on my community. Since 2005, I have been employed in various roles as a registered nurse, from the medical-surgical floors to the intensive care unit, and finally the emergency department. Each environment had various and unique challenges but more importantly, it allowed me to make a direct impact on people’s lives, and usually for the better.
Nursing allows me to connect with people holistically, an approach I plan to maintain as a nurse practitioner at Hampton Roads ENT and Allergy.
