Dr. Emily Burton is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Kent State University in 2016 and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2021 from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium (NOAC), a partnership between Kent State University, The University of Akron and The Cleveland Clinic. She completed her fourth-year externship at Wake Forest Baptist Health, where she gained experience in all specialties of audiology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Burton enjoys working with patients of all ages and providing comprehensive diagnostic audiology services and treatment. She is determined to provide patient-centered care by addressing each patient’s individual communication needs to improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, playing tennis, hiking, and exploring new places with her dog.
