Danita has worked in healthcare for more than a decade. She earned both her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Walden University in Minneapolis. She specializes in family medicine and strives to always have a listening ear and genuine bedside manner.
As a child, Danita knew she wanted to be in medicine and at the time it was to be a surgeon. After becoming a young mother, she witnessed how the nurses have the most rememberable interactions with caring for her daughter during a frightening time. This inspired her to enter the field of nursing.
Danita enjoys spending time with her husband and their children and grandchildren. In her free time, she loves to listen to music, play the drums, sing, travel and try food from different cultures.
