Most of us have experienced ear pressure, or the sensation of fullness within the ear, especially if you\u2019ve flown on an airplane, driven through the mountains or gone scuba diving. But do you know what causes this feeling?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s your Eustachian tubes \u2013 or more specifically, a blockage of the Eustachian tubes. These tubes are thin passageways that connect the middle ear<\/a> to the back of the nose\/throat. They\u2019re responsible for helping drain fluids from the middle ear and equalizing pressure. Certain conditions can disrupt the function of the Eustachian tubes, resulting in pressure, pain and even hearing loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
