She earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Kent State University in 2016 and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2021 from the Northeast Ohio&nbsp;Au.D. Consortium (NOAC), a partnership between Kent State University, The University of Akron and The Cleveland Clinic. She completed her fourth-year externship at Wake Forest Baptist Health, where she gained experience in all specialties of audiology.&nbsp;She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Burton enjoys working with patients of all ages and providing comprehensive diagnostic audiology services and treatment. She is determined to&nbsp;provide patient-centered care by addressing each patient\u2019s individual communication needs to improve their quality of life.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, playing tennis, hiking, and exploring new places with her dog.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Emily Burton is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
